Coach Keenan, your team needs some wins

by Avry Lewis-McDougall
Well the Edmonton Rush are off to an 0-5 start and the season is not getting any easier with back to back games vs the Washington Stealth, its a start that not many saw coming after the Rush made the playoffs for the first time in franchise history last season and as we know if a team cant get the W's the blame will fall on the coach, Derek Keenan to be specific. As Mike Wilson said on my sports show last week on in the media scrum after the Rush home opener back on January 28th after their 15-11 loss to Calgary, Keenan seemed just a bit too calm coaching a winless team. The only positive that could have been really taken out of that game was that it was the first time this year that the Rush had put up 10 or more goals in a game this season. The fans in Edmonton are antsy for wins, owner Bruce Urban wants wins so what does coach Keenan need to get out of his troops? Anyone? WINS!! The Rush play again this Friday at home vs Washington and boy it's not going to be pretty if this club falls to 0-6.
