Ireland has come up with a team to play in the World cup this May in Prague, and here at The NLL Blog, we support lacrosse from all over. We are asking for your support to help team Ireland get to the Worlds!
The team is 100% player funded and each athlete will be paying approximately €1600 - 1800 to represent their country.(That's around $2700 in Canadian dollars!)
You can show your support for the 2011 Irish National Indoor Lacrosse Team, and for lacrosse in Ireland, by sponsoring a player, purchasing advertising or simply making a donation, all of which will be recognized in the 2011 Irish National Indoor Lacrosse Team Media Guide. Printed versions of the guide will be produced for circulation, and it will also be available online. There is more information about Ireland Lacrosse available at IrelandLacrosse.ie
All funds raised through the 2011 Irish National Indoor Lacrosse Team fundraising programme are used to offset the costs of the athletes. Your money goes directly to pay for – facilities, accommodation while abroad, food while abroad, uniforms and equipment.
There are a number of different ways that you can help support the Irish National Indoor Lacrosse team. You can even help by simply passing this post along to your family and friends or your followers on Twitter, or by posting this to your Blog readers.
Another way you can help is to order the 2011 Irish National Team jersey, that the team will be wearing in Prague. You can get your name and number put on the back. The jersey comes in either Black/Green (Away) or White/Green (Home).
Now, I can't release the picture, but I can tell you they are sick!
Your order will be placed at the same time as the National Team order.
The jersey will make the perfect addition to any lacrosse lovers apparel collection or an excellent gift for the laxer in your life.
Jerseys cost just €75 or $100 + shipping.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to place your order before Midnight on February 23rd. Payments will be through PayPal and things can be sorted out through email.
If you have any questions or if you would like to see some pictures of the designs just send an e-mail.
Help grow the game!
